OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

 The Company

An interesting opportunity exists at this dynamic, specialist Recruitment Consultancy based in Leeds City Centre. You will be working in a fast-paced office environment. This is a part-time position offering up to 16 hours per week over 4 days.

 

The Position

Duties will include;

  • Allocating cash received
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Processing timesheets
  • Raising and issuing sales invoices
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Calculating VAT and CIS
  • Setting up new customer and suppliers
  • CIS verifications with HMRC
  • Creating and sending payroll schedules
  • Weekly statements & Credit control
  • Handling accountancy & payroll queries
  • Pensions
  • Completing Employment intermediary schedules

 

The Person

A mature educated and conscientious person with a good eye for detail. Previous accountancy and clerical experience is essential. Must be IT literate, capable of using MS Office suite. Preferably have worked on Xero accounting software.
