OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are recruiting for a Project Director on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary consultancy at their office in either London Or Farnborough.

The Project Director will be responsible for providing expert sustainable design advice to clients and project teams on a wide range of high profile projects including Commercial, Education, Retail and Residential developments.

 

Role Description

You will provide cutting edge sustainable design advice to clients and project teams on a wide range of project types including commercial offices, residential dwellings, masterplans, retail developments and sports stadia.

This role involves extensive contact with other groups within the department as well as external contact with people from other areas and other companies. The daily workload will be carried out in close cooperation with the members of the Sustainability Group and the company as a whole.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Hold a relevant Architectural or Engineering degree
  • Previous experience working as a Senior Sustainability Consultant/Project Director within a Building Services Consultancy.
  • Extensive understanding of building physics, dynamic thermal and computation fluid dynamic modelling
  • Understanding of current planning legislation, Building Control requirements (Part L etc) and building certification standards such as BREEAM
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Understanding of building services and the latest renewable energy technology
