OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading global supplier of Industrial Door solutions is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. This role will be cover the southern part of the UK from Birmingham Southwards. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the business by maximising sales and bringing in new business. With a strategic growth plan is in place, we are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of industrial doors ( Ideally sectional doors) with a technical sales background and demonstrable experience in building strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for management of their own diary/ appointments and all resulting enquiries.
Candidates will also be required to spend time in Germany and Holland to help better understand the business structure and product to allow you to improve efficiencies for the UK site.

A company vehicle, laptop and phone will be also included
Role Description

• Recognizing and developing new prospects in the industrial door markets – ensuring contact with the correct decision maker
• Revive and develop lapsed clients
• Deliver in depth product knowledge to clients to ensure the correct production selection for end user application
• Develop and improve the relationship with existing clients

Candidate Qualifications/ Skills

• Technical sales background.
• Strong working knowledge of Industrial doors
• Comfortable to travel to Germany/ Holland for company training.
• Full UK Driving License

Training will be provided to the suitable candidate however industrial door background knowledge is essential.
