A client of ours who provide quality sub-contracted machining services to a wide range of industries are looking to recruit a CNC Miller based in Leeds. The role will be to programme , set and operate the CNC Milling machines with the use of Siemens controls to produce high precision products for a range of clients. Ideally candidates will have previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC millers (ideally XYZ) with the use of Siemens Controls producing a range of components from one offs to batch work. This is a days based role working Monday to Friday with a large amount of overtime available. This is a permanent role and available for an immediate start.

Working hours Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm with a 3pm finish on Friday

Role Description

*Programme, Set and Operate CNC Miller

*Read technical drawings to produce components.

*Produce components from a range of materials (stainless steel / aluminium)

Skills / Experience
-Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances in either single or batch quantities.
-The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. overhead crane operating experience
-Ideally Time-served
-Demonstrable experience operating a CNC Miller (XYZ)

-Experience working with Siemens 828 controls.
