Due to a recent contract win, our client a leading Facilities Management company are looking to recruit a Contract Engineer / Manager to join their existing team based out of the office in Leeds. This opportunity has arisen due to recent increase in number of sites on a major Blue Chip contract and will require the successful candidate to help manage the day to day operation of the property team and to ensure that standards are adhered to at all times.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience working with an Facilities Management environment looking after a number of properties. This would ideally suit a driven Contracts Engineer / Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career and be part of a growing contract.
The position is a permanent role based at the head office in Leeds, however this will be responsible for 150 sites as far south as North London and site visits will be a necessity – Company Vehicle provided.
-Liaising with clients/ contractors/ employees/ suppliers on daily basis
-Working in commercial and retail properties
-Contract SLA’s / KPI’s are met
-Cost control and profitability
-Problem solving and ensuring client’s needs are met
Skills & Attributes
-Experience working within an Facilities Maintenance Contracts role.
-Demonstrable experience as a Contract Engineer / Supervisor / Manager
-Demonstrable experience in managing P&L
-Experience overseeing all Planned / Reactive maintenance is completed effectively and efficiently
-Full UK Driving License
