OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Team Leader on behalf of a specialist utility services company who provide installation, maintenance, metering and billing services to customers throughout the Uk.

The Delivery Team Leader will oversee and supervise other members of the delivery team to ensure all administrative and clerical tasks are performed with accuracy and on-time. Assisting and checking the work of others will form a large part of the role and the team leader will be a single point of contact for the Delivery Team Manager.

Role Description

  • Lead and task manage administrative and clerical tasks for the support team on a day- to- day basis (includes systems/tools/invoicing/reporting/record keeping, etc).
  • Checking the work of others, to ensure administrative and clerical tasks are completed with accuracy and on-time.
  • Data input across various platforms
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for the wider delivery team.
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Liaise with all departments to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Assist and step- in for the Maintenance Coordinator with administration tasks, helping to ensure systems are being used correctly and all chargeable work is being invoiced with accuracy and on-time.
  • Assist and step-in for the Logistics Coordinator with administration tasks, helping to ensure stock, invoicing and maintenance (plant room) tasks are administrated with accuracy and on- time.Assist the Delivery Team Manager with writing internal processes for the Delivery team.
  • Liaise and support the Delivery Team Manager with project related tasks and keeping systems/forecast sheets updated.
  • Monitor the company Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) systems and to regularly feedback to management and clients on the state of systems as well as report any critical issues.
  • Arrange appointments with individual residents.
  • Liaise with engineers and site staff to manage diaries and timescales of work to be completed.

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven background and experience in an administrative role, ideally in a supervisory/management capacity.
  • Experience working in the construction/facilities management sector would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Sage applications advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
