OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager on behalf of a leading engineering surveying solutions provider based in West Sussex.

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of all engineering services from site engineering to measured building surveys and point cloud modelling etc. You will be working amongst a range of some of the largest projects in the UK.

 

Role Description

  •  Manage the day to day workload across all engineering projects in order to meet customer requirements and business standards.
  • Provide support to senior members in response to approved bids and proposals related to engineering in line with customer requirements.
  • Ensure that all project based work packages meet company standards and processes.
  • Provide management within engineering/surveying projects.
  • Deliver on all engineering projects to secure optimisation of working hours and the delivery of on cost performance to project budgets.
  • Ensure reconciliation with other senior members for all commitments and make sure such commitments are in line with company rules and targets.
  • Ensure that health and safety standards are met.
  • Work alongside other engineering project managers to provide an exceptional standard of process management

 

Skills & Education

  • RICS Chartered Surveyor
  • Hold a valid CSCS card
  • Driving license
  • Experience of managing multiple projects at one time
  • The ability to manage costs within a project
  • Survey/construction experience would be preferred
  • The ability to brief and manage teams
