Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Generator Field Service Engineer on behalf of the largest generator specialist in the South West.

As the Field Service Engineer, you will support the service department in the service and maintenance of customers generators. A strong customer focus is required as you will be expected to liaise with customers and departments within the business.

Role Description

• Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators.
• Service, Fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipment.
• Carry out site surveys requests as required.
• Be a part of the company on call rota system currently 1 week in 12.
• Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Ideally completed an apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Familiar with electronic systems and mechanical components.
• Understanding of low voltage and high voltage.
• Understanding of single phase and three phase wiring.
• Ideally a CSCS card holder.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Able to use own initiative aswell as part of a team.
