OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Position:

The primary function of this role is to provide preventative and reactive service maintenance to a range of fuel dispensing equipment. Working independently as part of a team you will provide the highest standards in customer excellence and operate with defined EHS processes and procedures.

This position requires a high level of flexibility and preparation to work additional hours to support the business needs throughout the week and weekends.

 

Position responsibilities:

  • Primary function to carry out basic repairs primarily in the hydraulic area of the fuel pumps and dispensers. Such work will mainly be replacing filters, belts as well as other basic mechanical repairs.
  • Basic pump electrical repairs such as replacing light tubes
  • Completion of planned preventative maintenance programs
  • VRII Calibration of pumps
  • Assisting in Commissioning of new and refurbished sites
  • Inventory management of van stock
  • Measure Checks
  • 2nd Man Assistance

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Mechanical Competence
  • A basic electrical understanding
  • Valid Drivers Licence

 

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as part of a regional team
  • Able to solve problems both methodically and intuitively
  • IT Literate
