OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

A leading Facilities Management in the Leeds area are looking to recruit a Help Desk Operator to join their office on a permanent basis. They are looking to add to their current team due to a number of recent contract wins. This position will provide administrative support to the office and contract management team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background working within a Help Desk / administration role ideally within a facilities / engineering environment.

Candidates with experience issuing work to engineering staff would be at an advantage.

This is role is available for an immediate start working Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700.

 

Duties:

*Inputting of reactive calls onto in-house & client systems.

*To deal with clients. Flexible approach to all telephone queries, to deal with and then pass on to the appropriate person.

*Working knowledge of timesheets and inputting onto in house system.

*Manage accurate filing system.

*Job allocation to Engineers.

*Categorising and resourcing correct labour resource according to geographical need.

*Handling calls from clients, engineers and suppliers with regards to ongoing reactive or PPM work.

*Issuing Electronic Purchase Orders within assigned sped values.

*Providing cover for the other team members during periods of sickness and annual leave.

*Updating planners.

*Provide administration support for contract managers, team leaders, customer support supervisor customer support manager and engineers.

 

Experience/ Qualifications:

*Must have a demonstrable background working within an administration role.

*Experience working within the facilities sector would be advantageous.

*Strong IT Skills

*Able to deal with multiple priorities.

*Strong Communication/ Organisational skills.

*Able to work on own initiative and work well with the contract manager / administrator.
