OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Service Engineer on behalf of a national provider of Design, Install and Maintenance services for Air-Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation services.

The HVAC Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned service and maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems at a wide range of properties throughout Luton, London and the Home Counties.

 

Responsibilities

  • Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of HVAC systems. This will include:
  • Air Conditioning Split, VRV/VRF systems
    • Chiller systems
    • Gas Absorption Combined Heat & Power Systems
    • Ventilation and Air Handling Unit systems
    • Geothermal, Ground & Air Source Heat Pump Systems
    • Refrigeration Plant
    • Gas & Heating Systems
    • Complex BMS (Building Management Systems) Controls Systems
    • Electrical Systems
    • Water Hygiene Systems
    • Whole building HVAC Facilities systems
    • Fire Safety Systems
  • Carrying out technical breakdown and remedial works including fault diagnosis, repair, commissioning, system validation and servicing.
  • Planned preventative maintenance works
  • Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
  • Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Multi-skilled Maintenance/HVAC Engineer.
  • Valid commercial gas tickets
  • F Gas refrigeration qualifications
  • C&G 17th edition in electrical installations
  • Able to do emergency lighting tests, flick test and general electrical maintenance
  • Legionnaires L8 Checking & Testing
  • Knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Siemens & General Building Control System Proficiency
  • BMS Programming and Fault diagnosis

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
