Due to an increase in production demands we are currently recruiting a Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a permanent basis at their site near Elland. This is a days based role working Monday – Friday. Interested candidates will be experienced apprentice trained Mechanical Fitters who are looking for a long term role within a well-established and well known organisation. Candidates will have strong demonstrable experience working within a Mechanical engineering environment with experience in final assembly – XP with Valves/ Pumps would be advantageous. Overtime is available being paid at premium rates.

Hours Monday – Friday -0800- 1715 ( 1315 on Friday)
Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Manufacturing engineering environment is essential.
• Good all-round experience in mechanical enginering including general component assembly
• Pressure testing experience would be an advantage
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and have excellent attention to detail
• Must be confident working with and reading engineering drawings

Candidate Skills
• Time served apprentice trained Mechanical engineer
• Excellent all-round assembly experience

• Experience in assembly of Valves / Pumps would be advantageous
