OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a Planning and Scheduling Analyst within the Midlands area. The position will be based at either West Bromwich or Redditch.

The Planning and Scheduling Analyst will be responsible for providing  support, development and maintaining a standardised planning and scheduling solution within the support services division.
In this role you will work closely with other parts of the business improvement teams on interventions as and when required.
This position will be based at either West Bromwich or Redditch (depending on your location) also you will be required to travel from different sites across the UK and Northern Ireland.

Role Description
Your responsibilities will include;
• Support the deployment of automated scheduling solutions both as part of a mobilisation and as part of an upgrade to existing contracts
• Support projects, interventions and mobilisations by providing an expert viewpoint on the planning and scheduling of work
• Assist with training and support of existing planners and schedulers
• Review and analysis of existing planning and scheduling methods within multiple business areas
• Accurately record all actions taken on the required systems to ensure a full audit trail
• Be aware of the business continuity plans for the business and ensure that developed processes and systems adhere to them

Skills & Attributes
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes to be considered for the position;
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with colleagues and all key stakeholders across the business
• Strong Excel skills essential
• SQL experience desirable
• Experience of using scheduling 360, CAFM and Maximo would be desirable
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Experience of working within a Service Delivery / Contact Centre team
• Strong IT skills
• Experience working with automated scheduling software
• Understanding of planned and preventative maintenance within the facilities management industry
• Experience working with mobile workforces
