OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of a specialist national provider of heating, ventilation and exhaust systems.

This is a “hands on” role and involves everything from enquiry through to final account, with all the flexibility and autonomy that working in a small team involves.

The role will involve managing commercial and industrial flue installations. The projects are of relatively short duration with many running simultaneously and ranging in value from £2,000 to £100,000.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new enquiries.
  • Preparing Estimates.
  • Taking site measurements and planning the installation.
  • Calculating and designing the system.
  • Planning and coordinating the installation work
  • Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Ordering materials and sub-contractors
  • Raising sales invoices and approving purchase invoices
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards.

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Knowledge of the HVAC Industry, ducting, experience within the flue or ventilation and/or ductwork industry
  • Experience working with site teams, and demonstrable project management experience
  • Drawing and design skills.
  • Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • An understanding of the Construction Industry.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Candidates must have a full UK Driving Licence.
