We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager for a well known Surface Coatings Specialist in the Birmingham area. This opportunity has been created due to continual growth of the business and the sales department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a leading business within the industry and be given a strong platform for success. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable sales background within the surface coating /plating industry. The client has also said they would consider candidates with a strong technical background who are looking to move into a sale role.

This is a Permanent position available for an immediate start.

Description

•Identify and cultivate new business prospects in existing, adjacent, and new market areas
•Maintain and develop existing accounts, and key contact relationships, to optimise potential sales – through clear understanding of current and future requirements
•Identify, establish and professionally promote the benefits and distinct competitive advantages that are offered by the business.
•Proactively contact and qualify all significant quotes
•Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
•Act accountably and deal effectively with, and/or escalate, customer complaints and concerns

Candidate Skills

• Candidates must have a demonstrable background within field sales within the Surface Coating/ Plating industry.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Surface Coatings + Plating
• Ability to coordinate and prioritise workload
• Full UK Driving License
