OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are recruiting for a Senior Utilities Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to work as part of their infrastructure services team from the Central London office.

The Senior Utilities Engineer will be responsible for the planning, designing, installing and/or commissioning of utilities infrastructure projects.

 

Role Description

  • Deliver the technical output from the growing Infrastructure business in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Communicate with utilities operators to negotiate services that fulfil clients technical and commercial needs.
  • Create and maintain utility company workstream tracking tools
  • Prepare regular progress and quality reports and technical sketches
  • Advise clients and project manage technical and commercial aspects of projects.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Ideally be educated to HND/HNC level, however relevant demonstrable experience will be considered.
  • Experience of planning, designing, installing and/or commissioning of utilities infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of utility company processes/protocols, costs and risks.
  • Experience of working with developers and have a good understanding of their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels – written, verbal and face to face.
