Our client is seeking Land Surveyors to work nationally from their base in Liverpool. They carry out a wide range of land surveying tasks including topographical and engineering surveys, measured building surveys, GIS data collection, river surveys and technical support services. They also are looking for Rail Land Surveyors so experience of the Rail and Infrastructure industries would be advantageous. We are particularly looking for experienced staff but there is also a role for someone with 2 years experience as a minimum. A qualification in Land Survey or Geomatics is essential and Membership of a Chartered Institute is desirable. You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills together with enthusiasm and commitment. For the senior position you should also possess project management abilities, leadership skills and commercial awareness. A technological background in Terrestrial Laser Scanning and surveying in the rail environments with familiarity of Leica or Trimble equipment and LSS software would be an advantage. You will need to have a full UK driving licence as the work will involve travel to site locations, and must be prepared to spend time on site away from the regional office.
