My client is Part of a major construction group, who design and project manage commercial interior projects for some of the county’s best known organisations. Seeking a dynamic Telesales Manager with the same passion and drive to succeed as our own with a background in business to business sales ideally related to commercial property. The Telesales Manager will build and manage an appointment making team and have responsibility for development, motivation, target setting and calling alongside the team. Calls are focused on CEOs, MDs, Financial Directors, Estates Department Heads and Facilities Managers. A key element of the role will be to develop the working Practices of existing team members and there is considerable latitude for the Manager to make his / her mark on the organisation. Candidates must have a management record gained in a highly pressurised B2B tele-appointing and telesales environment as well as the ability to manage and motivate intelligent and challenging sales people. A strong understanding of business to business lead generation is needed as is the enthusiasm for making calls alongside the team. Essential requirements: • Have construction understanding – i.e. someone from a materials supplier / buildings merchant background • Internal Sales Manager experience • Telesales experience • Ability to lead a small telesales team, but also able to do the job themselves • Lead from the front • Be confident and able to coach and develop • Strong Manager who is creative and can think outside of the box • Be able to take immediate control • Demonstrable team management experience is essential • Strong negotiation skills • Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of the following services would be beneficial: SAP / EPC - SBEM/DSM Modelling - Code for Sustainable Homes Assessments - EcoHomes Assessments - Breeam Assessments - Feasibility reports - Daylight calculations- Water calculations - Air Testing and consultancy - Acoustic Testing and consultancy for Part E compliance, Breeam, CSH Assessments - Thermal bridging calculations - Clean room/isolation room testing - Room integrity testing (for server rooms) - Fire Stopping - Passive Fire Protection - Intumescent Coatings - Air Sealing - Acoustic compliance - Thermal Insulation to soffits |
