The Company:

My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Drainage Engineer to work on their digging, excavation, repair and maintenance team based out of their regional office in Nottinghamshire.

The Role:

As the Drainage Engineer you will predominantly be site based but the role will also incorporate some time spent in the office. You will be responsible for digging, excavation and repair and maintenance of domestic and small commercial drainage failures. You will be responsible for working alongside technicians, CCTV Surveyors and labourers. Due to the nature of the work the company requires all applicants to hold the NRSWA (Street Works) qualification at either Operative or Supervisor level. Training opportunities will be available including external courses and seminars. The Person

The individual should have a number of the following:

• NRSWA – Operative or Supervisor level certificate

• CSCS Card

• Drainage knowledge an advantage but not essential

• Relevant experience within a UK specialist or civil engineering contractor

• The ability to communicate your ideas strongly and clearly

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Experience working with local authorities and knowledge of traffic management is preferable.
