The Company: My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion they currently have an opportunity for a Water Mains Engineer in Essex working on water mains repairs. The Role: As a Water Mains Engineer you will predominantly be site based but the role will also incorporate some time spent in the office. You will be responsible for a small team of operatives. Training opportunities will be available including external courses and seminars. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Engineer with experience of working on burst water pipes and drainage. This opportunity would suit anybody looking to use and improve their skills, work for highly rated employer, challenge themselves on interesting projects, and progress their careers rapidly. The Person The individual must have: • CSCS Card • Drainage and water mains repair knowledge • Knowledge of water mains insurance repairs • Relevant experience within a UK specialist or civil engineering contractor • The ability to communicate your ideas strongly and clearly • NRSWA – Operative level certificate (preferential) • Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel is essential • An ability and desire to sell the organisation’s consulting services to existing clients |
