OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager on behalf of a fast growing Facilities Management provider.

Established over 15 years, the company has achieved growth year on year and enjoys excellent client relationships within a diverse range of sectors, including manufacturing, industry, retail, commercial, healthcare/medical and property management.

They provide a range of services to their clients across Wales and the South West including, M&E, Plumbing, Electrical, Fabric, Carpentry, Grounds Maintenance, Fire, Security & Access Control and many more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service delivery of their allocated contracts. Working with the helpdesk, engineers, and service partners to deliver all planned and reactive works to ensure the clients site are maintained to an excellent standard. You must be client focused and able to manage a large portfolio of sites without compromising on service levels.

This position will be based from the Cardiff office and will involve travel to South Wales, Bristol and the South West.

 

Responsibilities

  • Providing appropriate contract level support to ensure that all works undertaken on site are delivered as per the scope of works and paperwork is provided to the client in an accurate manner.
  • Manage financials on each account to ensure all works get invoices accurately and on completion of works. Work closely with the financial department to manage outstanding debt.
  • Utilise initiative and experience to problem solve and manage day to day activities to ensure works runs smoothly and any issues dealt with quickly to minimise downtime.
  • Manage and maintain a supplier network to assist with the service delivery. Have regular meetings to ensure delivery levels are maintained and any improvements identified and implemented. Reviewing costs of works and quotations to ensure best valve.
  • Supporting all team members by solving both professional and technical issues.
  • Mobilising new contracts, by identified plant and equipment that will need maintaining, setting up PPM planner. Identifying any outstanding issues and works and providing quotations, agreeing SLA’s and KPI’s that all relevant to each client and communicating these with the helpdesk and engineers.
  • Utilising the CAFM system to assist with planning, job management and invoicing. Also utilising clients own job management systems to ensure it is kept up-to date and this is reflected in our KPI’s.
  • On call support for the engineers.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • Will have qualifications or experience in delivery of a Contract Management role in a Hard FM service and maintenance environment
  • The candidate must have excellent team management skills and can demonstrate team development abilities
  • The ability to multi-task and work across all the team at the same time.
  • The candidate must have CAFM system experience.
  • Must be flexible and prepared to work varied hours to meet client deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
