OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

Continued growth has created a new and exciting opportunity at this well-established, leading energy provider for an Internal Sales Executive. This is a key role which brings together marketing and sales, ensuring the departments work closely together and communicate to deliver new business leads and sales.

 

The Position

Working with the Head of Business Development on an agreed contact strategy.  Promoting the Company’s business services, capabilities and reputation in the market and using own initiative to try innovative and varied approaches. Your duties & responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the process for sales leads
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing activities
  • Identify opportunities using databases including, Barbour ABI
  • Ensure qualified leads are recorded on the CRM system
  • Ensure leads are followed up by the sales team
  • Manage the sales mailbox
  • Measure key sales metrics including; conversion rate new quotes and value, conversion duration
  • Manage the CRM and own the processes
  • Manage reporting/forecasting, campaigns (in partnership with Marketing), cleansing, updating, administration
  • Arranging follow up actions where appropriate
  • Manage the BDM document folder containing latest marketing material
  • Prepare and send out copy quotes
  • Follow up on specified opportunities
  • Receive inbound calls and deal with/pass on appropriately
  • Process hardware orders and manage handover to projects
  • Be the link between sales and projects to ensure orders are processed efficiently
  • Assist with supporting sales in terms of warehouse enquiries (part numbers, stock levels)

 

The Person

  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work to strict guidelines
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Work in a proactive manner
  • Time Management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years administration experience providing support at a high level
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)

Desirable

  • Previous experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
  • Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field
