OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest distributers of compressed air equipment in the UK, a highly reputable and long-established company with over 50 years’ experience in the industry. Renowned for delivering quality products, reliable service and a commitment to customer care, they are ideally placed to meet the demands of the manufacturing industry in a constantly changing market.

Due to their continued success, the company is now looking to recruit an experienced individual,  who can manage and develop the business regionally. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for the development of existing and new business, including major projects, they will be expected to work closely with the sales and service divisions and have overall responsibility for the branches’ profit & loss. An ability to work with M&Es, design consultants and end-user blue chip companies is essential.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in all aspects of compressed air equipment sales is essential.
  • Previous experience in a management role.
  • Full UK driving license and the willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to maintain and achieve targets and deadlines.
  • A professional team player, who is self-motivated and possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
