OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

Continued expansion of this leading mattress/bed manufacturing business, has created an exciting and challenging new opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join their dynamic sales team.

 

The Role

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for collating customer orders and for data entry on the sales order processing system.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all orders by phone, fax and email, and input them on the Sales Order Processing system.
  • Maintain live orders on the system.
  • Check customer credit limits when taking an order, prior to inputting the order on the system.
  • Once daily loads are completed, arrange delivery times with the customers.
  • When booking in, amend loads with any customer changes and pass back to Production Planner for the Production Schedule to be produced and issued.
  • Assist with customer service issues when available to do so.
  • Organise paperwork for trailer collections.
  • Assist other office personnel when available and provide cover for absence and holidays.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties or requests from management, deemed necessary to contribute to the effective operation of the factory or site.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

 

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm. 37.5 hrs per week.
