Overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Utilities Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to work as part of their infrastructure services team from the Central London office.
The Senior Utilities Engineer will be responsible for the planning, designing, installing and/or commissioning of utilities infrastructure projects.
Role Description
- Deliver the technical output from the growing Infrastructure business in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
- Communicate with utilities operators to negotiate services that fulfil clients technical and commercial needs.
- Create and maintain utility company workstream tracking tools
- Prepare regular progress and quality reports and technical sketches
- Advise clients and project manage technical and commercial aspects of projects.
Skills & Attributes
- Ideally be educated to HND/HNC level, however relevant demonstrable experience will be considered.
- Experience of planning, designing, installing and/or commissioning of utilities infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of utility company processes/protocols, costs and risks.
- Experience of working with developers and have a good understanding of their needs.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels – written, verbal and face to face.
