Our Client, a nationwide compliance business are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Tester to join their existing team on a permanent basis to work through a growing order book with Commercial/ Retail clients in and around the Leicester / Northampton area. This is purely a testing role with no remedial works required. The ideal candidate will be time served with City & Guilds 2391/ 2394/5 test and inspection qualified with up to date 17th Edition Regulations certificate. Excellent earning potential with realistic earnings upwards of £45k. This role will require you to work within sensitive environments so interested candidates must be able to pass a CRB Check. A Company Vehicle, PDA and PPE and all required training is provided with this position.

Candidates must have experience in testing of fixed wire installation – experience in testing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems would be advantageous.

Role Description

-The test and inspection of fixed wire installations across commercial sites
-Thorough completion of testing reports and certificates to NICEIC standards
-No remedial actions to be carried out, only testing and reporting on current condition
-Mobile role working from home with van and all equipment supplied
-Work to be carried out to according to up to date 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
-Acting as a representative on behalf of the client in a customer facing position
-Must be appropriately qualified and experienced in fixed wire testing and inspection
-Working knowledge and experience of PAT Testing
-Fully funded company vehicle provided
-Test equipment also provided

Skills & Attributes

-Ideally you will be a time served electrician, however those with a wealth of experience will also be considered
-City & Guilds 2391/ 2394/5 Test and Inspection qualified (essential)
-17th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
-Must have a proven track record of testing and inspection of commercial fixed wire installations (essential )
