We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service / Sales Support role to join my client based near Elvington, York on a Permanent basis. This is on behalf of one of our international clients who are looking to add to its current Customer Service team to meet help meet production and sales demands. Ideally candidates will have a demonstrable background working a sales order processing / customer service type role, ideally within an Engineering/ Manufacturing business however this is not essential. Candidates must have a strong eye for detail and be extremely customer focused. This role is available for an immediate start!!
Hours of work – Monday – Thursday 0800 – 1700/ Friday – 0800 -1630
*Providing help and technical advice to customers using company products and services
*Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.
*Investigating and solving customer problems, which may be complex or long- standing problems that have been passed on by Sales Managers
*Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
*Improving customer service procedures, policies and standards.
*Processing new sales leads and orders passed by sales team, email enquiry, telephone or online ordering.
*Arranging client meetings/ Diary Management for Sales Manager.
*Update customers on status of order and delivery schedules
*Must have demonstrable experience working with a customer service/ sales order processing capacity, ideally within an engineering environment
*Strong Customer service skills
*Strong IT Skills
