Position:              Geotechnical Engineer

Location:             Telford

Rate:                     £30 – £32/hr

Contract length: 6 – 8 weeks

The Position

Our client specialises in green retaining wall solutions, providing sustainable solutions for: gravity walls, retaining walls, soil reinforced structures, river and flood protection works, slope stability, erosion control and landscape applications. They use a soft engineered system that is an alternative to concrete, gabion and other hard revetment.

They are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer for 6 to 8 weeks. The role will involve liaising with the local council to obtain Approval In Principal documents for the build of a 330m x 6m Retaining Wall structure. Working between the client’s offices and visiting site documenting testing schedule and report writing.
