Our client, a leading HVAC-R plant manufacturer are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Brighouse.


This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued growth within the business and they are now looking to expand their team due to increased workload.


The successful candidate will be required to provide the highest level of customer service to all clients to ensure that all enquires are processed in a timely manner and that all key customers both internal and external are updated with relevant information at the correct time scales.  Ideally candidates will have demonstrable experience working within a sales coordination/ Internal Sales role within a manufacturing engineering environment.


Hours – Monday – Friday 9AM-5PM


Role Description

*Respond to customer enquiries either by phone or email.

*All enquiries to be checked and logged within 1 day of receiving it.

*Log enquiries onto system following the logging procedure.

*Identify customer requirements and ensure we have the information we need to fulfill their requirement. *Request more information where necessary and keep a log of project progress

*Accurately interpret customer requirements and offer costs effective solutions (with Engineering support)

*Select the best units using selection software

*Export selected units and information into Excel and prepare the document in accordance with customer requirements.

*Work with Business Development Managers to work out a best price quotation for the customer and put this into a quote document.

*Send quotation and all relevant documents to the customer.

*Follow up of quotations using the follow up procedure

*Update and maintain CRM software ensuring all relevant information to a project is logged on there

*Process customer orders to be handed over to the project coordinators. This includes preparing an order pack and entering all information onto SAP.

*Request lead times from Production.

*Answer phone calls which may be for other areas of the business

*Take part in/run project handover meetings


Skills / Qualifications



*Demonstrable experience working within an Internal Sales based role – ideally within an engineering environment

*Customer focused with excellent customer service

*Strong organisation skills

*Willing to learn new processes and adapt to changes

*Must be able to communicate at all levels and be a team member who can

*Ability to work under pressure and prioritise own workload

*Good telephone manner

*GCSE in Math’s / Science
