The Role

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the pricing database and the services that the European team provide to its customers.
  • To develop a deep understanding of the Xactware solutions and Schedule of Rates (SoR) provided to customers.
  • Support clients to maximise the value gained from the Xactware solutions.
  • Participate in Client review meetings and prospect sales pitches, which will include estimate exercises, presentations and demonstrations.
  • Play a key role in improving the pricing database by performing market research, analysis, compilation and publication of building cost data for the UK market.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Ideal experience and qualifications

  • At least two years of estimating or quantity surveying experience.
  • NVQ qualification in Construction or another related field.
  • Property insurance claims experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Previous use of estimating software is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong construction experience – particularly internal repair/refurbishment as well as some analytical/excel skills
