OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Company

We are a thriving, dynamic recruitment agency based in central Leeds. Established for over 15 years with an enviable reputation for providing a high-quality service to our clients. Continued expansion has created a new opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk. Working 2.5 days per week (20 hrs) ideally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning.

The position will involve;

  • Raising invoices and credit notes
  • Checking and importing timesheets
  • Adding new client information onto the accounting software package
  • Adding Purchase Order numbers
  • Sending out statements
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Credit Control
  • Allocating money
  • Paying cheques into the bank
  • General admin

  

The Person

You should possess a good level of IT and commercial experience gained in a busy office environment. Preferably a good understanding of an accountancy software package such as Xero or Sage.

A confident, positive attitude able to deal with a high volume of invoices, timesheets and managing all queries associated with running a large sales ledger, combined with a key eye for detail.
