OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Topographical Surveyor to join a leading specialist organisation that carry out topographical, building, utility and laser surveys on behalf of public and private sector clients throughout the Uk.

The Topographical Surveyor will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed 2D and 3D plans and accurately processing relevant survey data for a wide range of engineering projects.

Role Description

  • Carry out topographical surveys and collect, process and deliver survey data accurately.
  • Attend pre-contract planning and mobilisation brief with the Survey Manager.
  • Planning and efficiently organising work in order to meet agreed deadlines
  • Preparing survey reports as required
  • Download and Post-Process all the surveyed data to confirm completeness and correctness
  • Carry out all Quality Control checks and ensure the survey report is completed

Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrable experience working as a Topographical/Land Surveyor.
  • Ideally be Degree qualified in Surveying Or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Proficient in the use of Leica TS15 and LSS software
  • Understanding of all aspects of surveying with a focus on health and safety
  • Full driving licence and be prepared to travel for work.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience speaking with clients.
