The Opportunity

Continued expansion has created an interesting and challenging opportunity for an experienced clean water engineer. The company has been established for almost 50 years and specialises in packaged and engineered treatment of ‘clean’ process water and ‘dirty’ wastewater, sewage and sludge water, as well as providing ongoing operation, maintenance, servicing & spare parts.

 

The Role

As the Clean Water Engineer you will be responsible for the design of water treatment systems to serve the client’s specific requirements. Systems will include RO, Softeners, De-mineralisation, ion exchange, chemical dosing, UV, Filtration etc.

You should be capable of producing detailed designs of containerised water treatment plant to take raw water from a river bed and treat with chemical dosing, UV, sand filtration techniques etc in order to produce drinking water of good quality and colour. The projects are designed from the ground up selecting equipment from many different suppliers and putting it all together into one working package.

Excellent opportunity to progress to Senior and Director level.

 

The Person

You should be an experienced Civil Engineer preferably with a chemical engineering degree or similar. Strong design skills having worked on a variety of water treatment projects. Capable of producing design specifications and liaising with the client to discuss their requirements.

Sales experience would be beneficial although not essential.
