Their impressive portfolio includes collaborations with industry leaders across the Commercial, Residential, Leisure, and Educational sectors. Following recent project wins, they are looking to expand their team with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

About the Role:

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of various projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial management, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for M&E projects.
  • Support the procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
  • Help manage contracts, including contract administration and negotiation.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.

The Person:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the Commercial, Residential, Leisure, or Educational sectors.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and IT tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
