Over the years, Apex has recruited engineering professionals across some of the UK’s most demanding and highly regulated environments, including Nuclear, Rail and Water & Wastewater infrastructure.
Today, we’re also actively recruiting specialist personnel into National Grid power station and substation environments. We’re now bringing this experience together under a dedicated Regulated & Critical Infrastructure division.

Why are we doing this?
Because recruitment into these environments requires much more than matching an Electrical or Mechanical job title to a CV.
Clients can require very specific combinations of technical expertise, regulated-sector experience, project history, competencies, qualifications, registrations and authorisations — and, for certain roles, appropriate security vetting.

We’re developing specialist talent networks around those requirements.
This includes professionals with experience and credentials across areas such as EUSR/BESC, National Grid Person and Competent Person authorisations, AP/SAP, TP137, HV systems, EC&I, ICA, Protection & Control, Commissioning, PTS/Sentinel and other sector-specific competencies.
