We are in the market for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join my client on a permanent basis to work to manage an increasing order book and distribute workload across the team accordingly. This role will require candidates to see jobs through from conception through production and delivery to the client therefore candidates must have a demonstrable background running jobs from cradle to grave.

The position is a permanent role based at the head office, however site visits will be a necessity – Company Vehicle provided

The ideal candidate will be a driven, ambitious, strong man manager with experience working within the mechanical building services industry with working knowledge of Ducting/ Fume Extraction. Candidates with experience working at a senior level would be at an advantage as this role will report the board of directors.

Role Description
-Contract Management of industrial Ducting/ Extraction systems.
– Liaising with clients/ contractors/ employees/ suppliers on daily basis
-Working in industrial properties
– Contract Handovers
-Cost control and profitability
-Problem solving and testing, and ensuring clients needs are met
-Site visits
-Man Management of site/installation teams

Skills & Attributes
-Experience of managing contracts for Industrial Ducting/ Fume Extraction systems
-Strong working knowledge of Mechanical Building Services
-Full UK Driving License
– Relevant Engineering qualifications (HNC/ HND)- Desirable
