OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Company

Our client is a leading supplier to the UK storage industry, offering a full warehouse interior design and storage system. They operate a full consultancy service to their clients, including carrying out site surveys and CAD design to provide the most appropriate solutions.

Their specialties include mezzanine floors, pallet racking, industrial shelving and repairs and inspections. Working with major manufacturers (e.g. Redirack, Link 51, Apex, Hi-store) and to the highest standards (all our designs are to SEMA standard) they ensure a high level of quality and expert advice to reach a successful outcome.

 

The Role

As the Sales Manager your position will involve

  • Liaising with clients to identify their requirements
  • Using CAD, CAN/CAM systems to design and visualise projects (CAD mainly)
  • Identifying new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs
  • Communicating effectively with the clients, colleagues and contractors involved in a project
  • Planning effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget

The Person

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Knowledge of Mezzanine and Pallet Racking
  • An eye for detail and a methodical work process
  • IT and CAD knowledge
  • Analytical and numeracy skills
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Time management, organisation and the ability to work to deadlines
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude and ability to use initiative
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
