OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Utility Projects Manager to work in Guildford for an established Geospatial Consultancy. The company provide land surveying services to a number of different sectors and projects across the UK.

The Utility Projects Manager will be responsible for the management of a Utility Survey team on projects throughout the Uk from quotation to completion.

Role Description

  • The day to day management of a busy Utility Survey team
  • Managing the programme of works
  • Planning survey works with exemplary Health & Safety best practice in mind.
  • Management of projects from quotation through to completion, liaising with clients at every stage
  • Site visits to build relationships with clients
  • Achieve KPIs and targets
  • Involvement with tenders and PQQ’s where necessary
  • Conduct and attend site visits to build relationships with clients.

 Skills & Attributes

  • Previous work history in a management role, ideally within a surveying, construction or infrastructure industry.
  • An understanding or previous experience in above and below ground surveying and the surveying industry in general,
  • Construction and development knowledge is desirable but is not essential.
  • Previous experience dealing with clients and have excellent organisation and communication skills
