OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for 2 Field Service Engineers on behalf of a global provider of stairlifts and mobility equipment.

Operating in over 20 countries they are a recognised market leader with a staff force of over 1000 valued employees.

As the Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing a range of company equipment such as stairlifts and hoists.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and a positive approach to work. Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.

 

Role Description

  • Carry out planned service and maintenance work to stairlifts and hoist products.
  • Deliver and install products in customer’s homes including product demonstrations and guidance on safe use of the equipment.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and customers to identify and source parts needed.
  • Keep clear and professional communication between customers at all times.
  • Be a part of the on-call rota (including working weekends and bank holidays).

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • City & Guilds or relevant qualification in a mechanical or electrical course.
  • Previous experience working on stairlifts and mobility equipment would be preferred but not essential.
  • Ideally previous field service experience.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to learn about new products and services.
  • Ability to cover an On-Call rota.
