Our client is looking to recruit 2 Fabricator Welders to join their team in Wakefield initially on a temporary basis to work through an increase in workload. This is initially a 12 week contract with the view of becoming a permanent position. The successful candidate should be time served and experienced in MIG Welding with demonstrable experience in fabrication using Mild Steel. Candidates must be able to competently read engineering drawings.
Hours of work : Monday – Thurs 0700- 1600/ Friday 0700– 13.00 with all overtime paid at premium rates. This role is available for an immediate start

Role Description
• Experience in fabrication and MIG welding of Mild Steel Components
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
• Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling

Qualifications & Skills

• Apprentice trained welder
• Experience working in manufacturing environments
• Trained on MIG welding equipment
• Able to read engineering drawings
