OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for an Order Management Controller to join my continually growing client in North West Manchester initially on a 6 month temporary basis. This position has been created due to an increased work load and the client is looking to grow its current team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an order processing role within an engineering / manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to manage all orders from start to finish and will be the focal point for clients so good customer service skills are a must.
This role is available for an immediate start.

Role Description

•Reviewing customer orders, commercial, contractual and technical customer specifications.
•Ensure all orders are managed and uploaded effectively to ensure correct product specification, agreed delivery, certification, and documentation requirements.
•Contribute to daily production meetings and process any additional duties reasonably allocated within the requirements of the Value Stream Manager.
•Communicate commercial, contractual, technical, administration, QA issues arising throughout the duration of the order. Raise order amendments.
•Order management coordination of customer service and enquiries including the creation and submission of all specific relevant customer documents
•Communication of shipping, invoicing queries.
•Provide technical and application support
•Assist with customer returns, and raise concession requests
•Contract management of orders including 3rd party inspections, the creation of project production schedules and coordination of specific milestones during the life of an order.
•Assist in sales process forecasting and developing the long term business relationships.
•Follow standard work process and ensure all business is in accordance with Delegation of Authority, company Policies And Procedures.

Skills & Attributes

• Previous experience working within an Order Management / Order Processing role.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure.
• Good understanding of an SAP .
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook literate.
• Excellent communication skills
