We are currently recruiting on behalf of an International engineering company based near Leeds for a Quality Inspector to join their existing team on a permanent basis. Ideally candidates will have experience in inspecting goods inwards/ finished assembled components using Micrometers/Verniers/ Ideally you will be time served however individuals with a wealth of Quality Inspection experience will be considered. This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.

Role Description

• Demonstrable experience with dimensional inspection (Ideally within a manufacturing / engineering environment)
• Experience using traditional measuring equipment such as Micrometers and Verniers.
• Experience in the Valve manufacturing sector is desirable.
• Able to identify non conformities and take the appropriate action in a constructive manner
• Must be flexible regarding overtime.

Skills & Attributes

• Time served in a relevant engineering discipline
• Conversant in the use of traditional measuring equipment
• Experience in the Valve manufacturing sector is desirable
