A client of ours, a leading Industrial Refrigeration company, are looking to recruit an Application Engineer working out of their office based in the North West. The role will be to generate profitable regional contract works relating to refrigeration and process cooling installations and growing the customer base to include new contacts within the refrigeration industry. Candidates will also manage contract execution involving design, purchasing and contract management. Ideal candidates will have an industrial refrigeration service background with technical sales experience. The role will involve design of small cold rooms and Glycol systems to start with but will provide training and progression to work on larger industrial systems. This is a permanent role working Monday – Friday with availability to work from home. The role comes with a company car and available for an immediate start.

Role Description

Accurately estimate projects to meet the customers’ requirements.

Allocation of sub contact labour for the installation of contracts.

Design and project manage, agree sales margins to ensure that these margins are achieved and maintained at contract completion.

Plan & deliver the projects

Verification of supplier invoicing against orders raised and the preparation of a detailed sales invoice.

Assisting on ad-hoc and change projects throughout the year.

Experience / Quals

Project management skills; strong planning and organisational skills; ability to work to tight deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Sales and contract management experience

MS Office, including word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Time served Refrigeration Service Engineer
