OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our client, a leading refrigeration service business across the UK, are looking to recruit a Desk Engineer to join their existing team in Warrington. The Desk Engineer will be required to provide technical assistance to on-site engineers, contractors and end user clients on a range of refrigeration based problems.

The successful candidate will be tasked with be required to answer incoming calls to the support desk and provide advice based on the query, responding to customer enquiries via email/ telephone and contribute to achieving targets set for the technical helpdesk team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experinece working within the refrigeration industry with knowledge of refrigeration systems.
Knowledge of Supermarket/ Retail refrigeration would be advantageous

Position Overview

Respond to technical queries over the telephone and via e-mail to customers and employees and confidently offer first line technical support and advice on any problems on a range of systems.

Skills/ Qualifications

Ability to provide technical assistance to on-site engineers, contractors and clients on a range of technical issues.
NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent ( Ideal)
Customer facing
Excellent IT Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
