OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Service and Maintenance Manager to join a well-established M & E maintenance contractor, based in the heart of West Yorkshire. Operating on a national level, the company has earned an enviable reputation for providing specialist commercial and industrial engineering services to the building industry – with prestigious projects ranging from complex steam, air, heating and cooling systems to electrical installations. This new opening, in the Small Works division, will provide an opportunity for the right person to join a hard-working, highly trained team, who are dedicated to delivering cost effective advice and efficient implementation on time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
You will ideally have several years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. Preferably a hands-on engineer with good experience gained in the HVAC Industry, and have worked on a range of commercial properties.
You should possess strong interpersonal skills, and be an enthusiastic and competent problem solver with a dynamic, practical approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role
Working closely with the Service & Maintenance Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Fielding calls for breakdowns and organising service engineers to attend.
- Organising engineers on annual service contracts.
- Co-ordinating AC Engineers for both servicing and new installations.
- Carrying out invoicing of projects in full co-ordination with the clerical staff.
- Providing accurate service reports to all clients.
- Providing annual service schedules & reports.
- Carrying out filing systems on the computer.
- Updating training schedules for service engineers.
- Carrying out estimates for service & small works contracts and supervising same on site.
- New business generation.
- Provide leadership and continual promotion of the company’s services.
