OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for Plumbers/HIU Engineers on behalf of a national provider of sustainable heating solutions.

Their services include the design, installation, maintenance and management of plant rooms and heat networks on behalf of local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers.

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installing and commissioning HIU’s and carrying out plumbing works on new build residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a plumbing background and have knowledge of HIU’s. The company will also provide training.

The company are offering a competitive salary as well as Overtime rates which are paid at x1.66. Other benefits include company vehicle which can be used for private use, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, training and more.

 

Responsibilities

  • Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
  • Planned preventative maintenance works.
  • Planned on site new installation product commissioning works.
  • Working Health & Safety Practice.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification to a minimum NVQ level within a related field.
  • Current technical background, preferably building services engineering related.
  • Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry.
  • Full UK Driving License.
