Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer on behalf of a national Building Services company who specialise in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing & Heating, Electrical and Renewables.

Established over 100 years, they have office in Yorkshire and the London area, and currently have over 100 employees working for them. They have large contracts in place with the NHS, the government and other national organisations.

As an AC Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, to responding to reactive service calls requiring you to utilise your extensive problem solving skills, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through first time fix. You will take a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all.

What will you do….

• Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with gas equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
• Coordinate and control all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works
• Liaise closely with the client, maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships
• Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements
• Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response

Who are we looking for…..

• An experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• F-Gas Accreditation.
• Ideally you will have an NVQ Qualification, but this is not necessary.
• Knowledge of VRV’s, Coldrooms, Close Control and Chilled water systems.
• An eye for detail and a desire to work to a very high standard.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
• Full driving licence
• IT competent
• Be able to pass a DBS check
