The Company

Continued growth has created a new opportunity for an AutoCAD technician, reporting to the Designers providing support to a fast-growing multi-disciplinary team. The company has been in operation since 1974 – specialising in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire protection equipment, and Sprinkler and Security systems – including Intruder alarms, CCTV and Door Access systems.

The Position

Outline duties will include:

• Producing accurate detailed Design and As-Fitted drawings from plans provided
• Amending/modifying/updating drawings as/when required
• Maintaining a log of drawings created
• Ensuring all drawings are filed electronically on our master database

The Person

• The successful candidate will have relevant experience of using AutoCAD in a commercial environment and have the following skills and experience;
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Competence in the use of Microsoft Office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Organised approach to your work
• Ability to work to deadlines and within timescales given
• Please note that due to the nature of the business, all successful candidates will be required to undergo Security Screening with an external agency.
