Overview

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for an Air Conditioning Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Heating and Renewables Contractor.

Established over 20 years, they specialise in the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems. They have a team of over 30 staff members.

They work in a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Education, Retail, Leisure, Public Sector and Healthcare. They work on a range of sites such as schools, military bases, NHS, care homes and council buildings.

We are looking for an F Gas qualified engineer with experience in working in a similar role ie fault finding and servicing on VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits and Multi Splits. This role will be covering Yeovil and the South West.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, paying £40k – £46.5k per annum. Perks include van and fuel card which can be used for private use. Door to Door travel. Overtime. Pension. Responsibilities

• Commissioning, diagnosing, repairing faults and undertaking routine maintenance on industrial, commercial, public sector and residential air conditioning systems.
• Working on systems such as VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits, AHU’S and Fan coil Units.
• Able to complete company documents such as job cards, time sheets and maintenance reports.
• Good customer service skills, well presented with the ability to build a rapport with clients.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Attributes

• Relevant qualification in Air-conditioning.
• F-Gas Qualification.
• Background in building services/facilities management would be beneficial.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• An eye for detail and a desire to work to a very high standard.
• Full UK Driving License.
