Overview:

We are currently recruiting for Commercial Heating Engineers on behalf of one of the Uk’s leading M&E Reactive Maintenance firms who are rapidly expanding due to winning new and exciting projects throughout the entire North East area.

This is a full time position working from Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week + OT. The company itself has a large and varied client base throughout the UK ranging from Care Homes, Commercial Properties, Schools to NHS Buildings and more.

The basic salary is £31k per annum however, travel is paid at time and a half after 15 minutes which adds about £8,716.5 on before actual overtime and call outs.

For call outs we pay a minimum of 2 hours for the first call and double time between midnight and 5am weekdays and all day Sunday the rest is time and a half. OTE is mid to high 40’s.

This position is available for an immediate start.

Role Description:

As one of the Commercial Gas Heating Engineers you will be required and allocated to carry out Servicing, maintenance and breakdown works on commercial boilers and plant rooms on a variety of selected projects. This is organised daily through a user friendly tablet software. Part of this opportunity will also include an out of hours call out rota which is taken in turns equally between the engineers to offer a further increase in earnings.

Skills & Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2/3
• Commercial Gas Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge on all aspects (Servicing, Breakdowns & Maintenance)
• Ability to fault find
• Good Communication Skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
